The Executive Committee of the European Karate Federation today met to discuss the upcoming events of the sport in the continent.
As European Karate moves to another thrilling season, the EKF’s decision-making body gathered via videoconference to review the events to be held in the continent in 2023.
Discussions focused on key topics such as the celebration of the 2023 European Games. The state of the participation of Karate in the multi-sport event to be held in Poland was on top of the agenda.
EKF and WKF President Antonio Espinós said:
“We had an extremely productive meeting with discussions focused on a united approach to ensuring an even brighter future for our sport.
“Significant challenges are ahead of us but our strong foundation, our clear strategy, and our solid values make us convinced that our firm position and our incessant progress will continue to be the trademark of our sport as well as the base of our status as one of the most popular disciplines in Europe.”
