The preparation for the upcoming 2022 Small States of Europe Karate Championships was on top of the agenda of the meeting of the Small States of Europe Karate Federation (SSEKF) on Tuesday.
In the presence of the WKF and EKF President Antonio Espinós, and led by the SSEKF President Andreas Vasileiou, the meeting via videoconference gathered representatives of the members of the SSEKF as the celebration of the 2022 Small States of Europe Karate Championships nears.
The city of Vaduz in Liechtenstein will host the 2022 Small States of Europe Karate Championships from September 22 to 25. The progress of the sport in these countries will be showcased at the event.
The celebration of the 2023 edition of the championships in Luxemburg was also reviewed at the meeting.
WKF and EKF President Antonio Espinós said:
“I am pleased to note that the 2022 Small States of Europe Karate Championships are on the way to becoming a reference for future events. I am convinced that this tournament will showcase the longstanding and successful history of our sport in these countries.

I want to thank all the members of the SSEKF attending the meeting today, very especially the president of the Liechtenstein Karate Federation Katherine Broder and SSEKF president Andreas Vasileiou for their efforts to continue the progress of Karate in their area of influence.”
