World Karate Federation Unveils New Global Visual Identity

The World Karate Federation (WKF) today announced the launch of a complete rebranding of its visual identity. The new branding aims to modernise the WKF’s image while staying true to the honour, values, and traditions that define karate.

The project reflects the evolution of the sport and its commitment to discipline, progress and continuous improvement. The updated identity brings a fresh, contemporary look that positions the WKF at the forefront of international sports federations. It strengthens the link between karate’s heritage and its growing global presence, ensuring the sport remains relevant for new audiences while respected by its traditional community.

The project includes a full redesign of the visual presentation of the WKF’s main events. The new identity will be introduced immediately, with all WKF events beginning to adopt the updated visuals across all the competitions starting in 2026.

WKF President Antonio Espinós celebrated the launch of the rebrand, stating:

“This achievement is more than a visual update. It places the WKF ahead of the times while remaining respectful of our sport’s core heritage. Our new identity reflects the strength of karate, the values we promote, and the tradition we are proud to represent. With the modern design that we are presenting today, we achieve a significant milestone in our sport’s history and the WKF’s ongoing efforts to grow the sport and expand its reach worldwide even further.
