On the eve of the 2024 EKF Cadet, Junior & U21 Championships in Tbilisi, Georgia, the Small States of Europe Karate Federation (SSEKF) met for a crucial meeting. Chaired by the President of the SSEKF Andreas Vasileiou, the meeting had EKF and WKF President Antonio Espinós in attendance.
The gathering in Tbilisi had representatives of the Small States of Europe participating, as well as EKF General Secretary Davor Cipek and EKF Executive Committee, and WKF Athletes’ Commission chairman Davide Benetello.
At the heart of the agenda were the upcoming Games of the Small States of Europe in 2025, slated to take place in Andorra. The meeting served as a platform for sharing insights, exchanging ideas, and solidifying partnerships among the small states of Europe.
EKF and WKF President Antonio Espinós said:
“Whether big or small, all the Federations play a crucial role in ensuring that the progress of our sport is maintained. With the spirit of collaboration and determination driving us forward, I am pleased to note that the SSEKF is ready to embark on the momentous journey towards the Games of the Small States of Europe 2025 in Andorra.
