WKF Presidents Discussed Karate at Games of Small States of Europe with SSEKF Executive Committee in Zadar

The World Karate Federation (WKF) and European Karate Federation (EKF) President Antonio Espinós met with the Executive Committee of the Small States of Europe Karate Federation (SSEKF) in Zadar, Croatia. The main point on the agenda for the meeting was to discuss the upcoming Games of the Small States of Europe (GSSE) in Andorra in 2025.

SSEKF President Andreas Vasileiou briefed the attendees about his upcoming visit to Andorra, where, together with the Sports Director of the SSEKF Veljo Brnovic and the President of the Andorra Karate Federation Xavier Herver, he will meet with the National Olympic Committee (NOC) and local officials to finalise the details of the karate event. The GSSE in Andorra will take place from May 27 to May 29, 2025, and preparations are well underway to ensure a successful event.

 

In addition to the 2025 Games, the meeting also served to discuss the 2024 SSEKF Championship, which is scheduled to be held in Monaco from November 1 to November 3, 2024. This championship aims to be a significant event for the small states of Europe, providing a platform for athletes to showcase their skills and compete at a high level.

 

WKF and EKF President Antonio Espinós said:
